dude: I just want her to know how I
feel.
chick: Then tell her.
dude: She won’t like me.

chick: Well just tell her.
dude: What should I say?
chick: Tell her how much you like her.
dude: I tell her that daily.
chick: what do you mean?
dude: I’m always with her. I love her.
chick: I know how you feel. I have the

Albert and Jem are sitting alone in the park one night.
ALBERT: I guess we are the left overs in this world.
JEM:
I think so. All of my friends have boyfriends and we are the only two
people left in this world without any special person in our lives.
ALBERT: yup I don’t know what to do.
JEM: I know! We’ll play a game.
ALBERT: what game?
JEM: I’ll be your girlfriend for 30 days and you will be my boyfriend.
ALBERT: that’s a great plan. In fact, I don’t have anything to do for the following weeks.

DAY1: They watched their first movie and were both touched by the romantic film.
DAY4: They went to the beach and had a picnic. Albert and Jem had their quality time together.
DAY12:
Albert invited Jem to a circus and they rode on a Horror House. Jem was
scared and she went to grab for Albert’s hand but she grabbed someone
else and they both laughed.
DAY15: they saw a fortune teller down
the road and they asked for their future advice. The fortune teller
said, “my darlings, please don’t waste the time of your life. Spend the
rest of your time together.” Then tears rolled down from the teller’s
eyes.
DAY20: Jem invited Albert to go to the hill and they saw a meteor. Jem mumbled something.
DAY28: They sat on the bus and because of a bumpy road, Jem gave her first kiss to Albert by accident.
DAY29: 11:37pm
Jem and Albert sat in the park where they first decided to play this game.

ALBERT: I’m tired Jem. Do you want any drink? I’ll buy you one. I’ll just go down the road.
JEM: Apple juice will be fine.
ALBERT: wait for me.

20mins later, a stranger approached Jem.
STRANGER: Are you a friend of Albert’s?
JEM: uhh yes. What happened?
STRANGER: A drunk driver ran over Albert and he is critical in the hospital.

11:57pm.
The doctor went out of the emergency room and he handed out an apple juice and a letter.
DOCTOR: we found this in Albert’s pocket.
Jem reads the letter and it says:

Jem,
This
past few days I realized you are a really cute girl and I am really
falling for you. You’re cherished. You were everything when we played
this game. Before this game would end, I would like you to be my
girlfriend for the rest of my life. I love you Jem.

Jem crumples the paper and shouted:

“Albert!
I don’t want you to die. I love you. Remember that night when we saw a
meteor, I mumbled something. I mumbled that I wish we would be together
forever and never end this game. Please, don’t leave me Albert. I love
you! You cannot do this to me!”

Then the clock strikes 12. Albert’s heart stopped pumping. Then it was the 30th day.
